Unmute Dialogue, Poland 2025
Our participation in this Erasmus+ project was a profound journey into the heart of Nonviolent Communication (NVC). We engaged in dedicated learning to strengthen our social and emotional competencies, focusing on building healthy relationships and fostering empathy. The project provided a crucial toolkit for recognizing and countering hate speech, empowering us to actively support the creation of more inclusive and understanding societies.
Within a vibrant, multilingual team, we developed key intercultural and interlinguistic competencies. Through direct exchange and collaboration, we learned to adapt our communication across cultures, developing linguistic empathy and an openness to diverse ways of expressing thoughts and emotions. This experience created a safe space for sharing and learning, allowing us to break down stereotypes and prejudices through genuine human connection.

Ultimately, this project was about active participation. It equipped us with the language of empathy and dialogue, encouraging us to become engaged citizens capable of critical thinking and constructive conversation. We are now better prepared to contribute to peaceful coexistence, strengthen solidarity across generations and cultures, and uphold the democratic values that unite us.
