Youth overcome Hatred“, Zakopane, Poland
The main topic of the project „Youth Overcome Hatred” are human rights and „hate-speech” phenomena. Nowadays, more than ever, social media plays a very important role in our lives with a significant impact on our interpersonal and social relations. Unfortunately, very often we let ourselves to be fooled by apparent anonymity in the internet. The growing phenomena of „hate-speech” has been observed for years mostly in internet. The lack of real contact to the conversationalist deprives us of a natural empathy to another person. The human rights are “the basic rights and freedoms to which all humans are entitled”. But the concept and the primary decleration of human rights has been established in the times when the modern media did not exist.
