Shake Mi City, Milano, Italy 2015

.

„In Gandellino, near to Milan, was held  the project named „Shake Mi City” . The project included six countries: Italy, Romania, Belgium, Denmark, Portugal, Croatia and 54 participants (9 participants from each country). The place were the activities took part, was situated in a mountain area ,which has helped us  to focus only on activities. The two main aims of the project were: to explore the European citizenship and to offer to participants the opportunity to discover their talents and creativity. But,the most important aim was that at the end of the week we had to organize an “final event” based on performance about European citizenship through art and creativity.

Through all creative activities that organizers prepared for us we manage to  interact with each other, to discover the different cultural backgrounds of the participants, to be tolerant with other points of views and to share informations about each country through the  intercultural evenings. We developed skills in terms of theater , music and dance and also we develop our organizational skills. Intercultural nights  were like “a bridge” to intercultural learning and development of new skills and competencies.SDC12596

Each country presented their traditions, dances and also dishes, that gave us the opportunity to meet new cultures and ways to promote your identity. To visit Milano as a group of 54 participants, was a real challenge, but we shared funny and good moments together. We became good friends,we  keep in touch and we want to meet again in other future projects.”
