 “Letter to Europe”, Macedonia 2009

This “Letter to Europe” begin in the year of 2009 in Strumica, Macedonia. The Youth in Action Programme has given the opportunity to youngsters from Bulgaria, Bosnia, Romania, Serbia, Poland and Macedonia to gather together in the lovely and sunny city of Strumica and for ten hot days to learn many new things, to make friends, to have fun, to develop a team spirit and to find a common language of understanding.

Through the spirit of a true team singing the song “Bear hunt” we the group here went on a knowledge hunt—we learn about human rights, violation of human rights, equality, citizenship, active participation, journalism, moviemaking, photo, and through the whole journey we were not scared because we had “guns” – the team spirit the most important thing for a good result… we went through many “mountains, rivers” and at the end “we could not see any obstacles on our way to knowledge”…
