Leadership EcoQuest”, Slovakia 2025
The project was a youth exchange, implemented between the 24th and 30th of May 2025 in Snina, Slovakia. The project brought together young participants from Romania, Poland, Slovenia, Hungary, Spain, Lithuania, and Slovakia with the aim of developing leadership, entrepreneurship, and crisis management skills through a dynamic mix of non-formal education and outdoor experiential learning.
Throughout the program, participants took part in a series of structured workshops and real-life challenges that blended theoretical knowledge with hands-on experiences. These activities were carefully designed to foster critical thinking, teamwork, and practical problem-solving abilities, all while promoting active engagement and reflection. One of the key components of the project was the visit to eco-businesses operating in the region. During these visits, participants observed sustainable practices in action and engaged in meaningful conversations with entrepreneurs and industry experts. These exchanges offered valuable insights into innovative business models, the realities of running environmentally responsible enterprises, and the current trends shaping the green economy.
In addition, participants collaborated in international teams to develop their own green business ideas. They took part in brainstorming sessions, group workshops, and mentoring activities that supported them in transforming creative concepts into realistic and impactful business strategies. This process not only reinforced their understanding of sustainability and entrepreneurship but also helped them build resilience and adaptability in the face of potential crises. The Leadership EcoQuest project successfully empowered young people with the tools, knowledge, and motivation to take initiative, lead with purpose, and contribute to a more sustainable and resilient future.
This project was done with the support of the Erasmus+ Programm.
