DigitalYOU, Poland 2026

Together Romania Association participated as a partner organization in the Erasmus+ Youth project “DigitalYOU”, implemented in Olsztyn, Poland between 9–18 January 2026. The project brought together young people and youth workers from Poland, Lithuania, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Spain and Romania with the objective of strengthening key digital competencies and promoting responsible citizenship in the digital environment.

DigitalYOU focused on developing critical media literacy, recognizing and countering misinformation and fake news, understanding the basics and societal impact of artificial intelligence, building positive digital identities, and ensuring the safe and ethical use of digital media. The project documentation stated that its aim was to empower participants as conscious digital citizens able to use technology for learning, collaboration and personal development.

During the exchange, participants took part in workshops, project-based learning sessions, practical exercises, intercultural evenings, team-building activities and dissemination tasks, delivered through non-formal learning methods. Activities such as debates, media creation, surveys, reflection sessions and a city game contributed to the experiential character of the exchange, while Youthpass certificates were issued for competence recognition.

The mobility hosted 6-person delegations from each participating country and was coordinated by the Warmińsko-Mazurska Wojewódzka Komenda OHP from Poland. Through its participation in DigitalYOU, Together Romania supported the enhancement of digital resilience among young people, contributed to European cooperation in youth work, and promoted the value of non-formal education within the Erasmus+ Youth framework.
