“Multimedia to Promote Mobility of Unemployed Youth”, Serbia 2011

            It was organized in Sabac, Republic of Serbia and lasted for 10 days. Training dates: 16/09/2011-25/09/2011. Topics of the project: mobility of youth, problem of unemployed youth and active participation of youth in society.

            Objectives:

-To train group leaders and youth workers from EU andSEEcountries and give them the capacity to use multimedia as a tool in promotion of mobility of unemployed youth and youth with fewer opportunities, as well as developing skills in promotion and implementation and launch of new quality projects, both within the framework of the Youth in Action Program and on the local level.

-To raise awareness about importance and possibilities offered by youth mobility schemes, with particular reference to European Union’s mobility programs

-To improve and quality of future YiA Program projects developed by partner promoters

-To give to the participants a tool for multiplying the competences gained during the TC at local level, in order to involve and empower young people

            Non-formal education was the backbone of the methodology used during the training. It included icebreaker dynamics, an association fair, working sessions on Multimedia in Non Formal Education, Intercultural learning workshops, presentations on Mobility of Unemployed Youth, Multimedia Workshops, presentation of the Youth in Action Program, working sessions on future projects, field visits, intercultural evening and open space workshops.

            Number of participants: 24 from 8 countries: Italy, BiH, Romania, FYR Macedonia, Serbia, Albania, Turkey & Portugal.
