Don’t panic! Solving problems is not impossible”, Albania 2012
.
“Even if before to go to this training course I was a little bit thinking at some stereotypes about Albania, I can say that it was a very nice and interesting experience. This nice experience was made by the team which was formed, the hotel view, the beach, the food, the program, games but not in the least, the trainers.
During one week, 6 countries groups were discussing among the conflicts and how resolve this kind of situation. So, we could observe how the Turkish, Albanian, Kosovo, Macedonian, Italian, Romanian and Estonian people are thinking, reacting when a conflict is happen. And, like the objectives of this project were, using the non-formal education we could:
– be train how to prevent conflictive situation in youth work;
– be equipped with tools on how to approach different conflictive situations in youth work;
– know about some experiences and good practices on conflict resolution
– explore impact of cultural misunderstandings in conflict situation especially in EVS and other actions of YiA
– learn more about the YiA program and the space and support it gives to youngster to explore different topic in a multicultural environment.
It was the first time when I participated at this kind of project, but can I say that it makes me want to have more such an experience.”
