“Building Bridges from the Margins” in Sabac, Serbia

Organized by Association Light from Sabac, Serbia in partnership with: Zdravo da ste – Bosnia and Herzegovina, Together Romania – Romania, Beyond Barriers – Albania, Arci Chieti – Italy, Water Report – Portugal, Volunteer center Skopje – FYR of Macedonia, Hatay Fortuna Youth Union – Turkey.

TC objectives:
– to train group leaders and youth workers from EU and SEE countries and give them the capacity to use multimedia as an innovative and creative tool for fight against marginalization of young migrants and minorities, and special emphasis shall be placed on inclusion of Roma youth.
– to raise awareness and to foster commitment of young people to problem of inclusion and active participation of marginalized youth as well as developing young people’s skills in promotion and launch of new quality projects, both within the framework of YiA programme and on the local level
– to give to the participants a tool for multiplying the competences gained during TC at local level aimed to involve and empower marginalized young people
– to improve and quality of new YiA programme projects developed by partner promoters.
Non-formal education will be the methodology used during TC. It will include: icebreaker dynamics, intercultural evening, display of associations, a presentation of the Youth in Action Programme, Show and Tell, working sessions on Multimedia in Non-formal Education, Intercultural learning, Marginalization is…, field visits, Practical Workshops (video, audio, photo), Open Space, sessions on future projects and final evaluation. In order to check together with participants the flow of the project reflection groups will be realized every day.
