“Our green Europe” in Snina, Slovakia

The main theme of this project is protection of the nature and education through outdoor activities. We are focused on how to succeed this with the help of participants from different countries and cultures and we will try to find out different ways of protecting the green areas in order to preserve the areas for outdoor free-time activities for next generations all together.

This project idea came out of the current situation of our world – youngsters are not taking active part in outdoor activities connected to the nature. Clubbing and social networks are more popular then taking active outdoor part in various activities and we are missing this healthy issue in modern young society. The main objective of this project is to promote the outdoor activities in green areas between youngsters and protection of green areas in order to live with healthy life style and to protect and promote the protection of green areas all around the Europe.

As an evaluation of this project we believe that participants of the project will be reflecting their experiences of this project in their own countries and they will take the aim of the project one step further by using this methods and what they have learned during the project will lead them to create, protect and support the green the world needs in their own country. Workshops will take active role in whole exchange and will be organized in a way that all participants will actively participate in all actions. This way we aim to use learn by doing method of non-formal education.
