         The project was one of type Youth in Action 1.1 it was organized in Duzce a young city in the Asian part of Turkey. Romanian team participated to this program together with Poland and Turkey, the organization team being Turkish. In this project our team had the opportunity to understand not-hearing persons, to make really good friends, work together in a silent drama, making a video and taking some interviews to important political personality as Umar Farouk Siran, the Provincial Director of Youth Services and Sports from Duzce.

       It was an amazing trip where Romanian team was introduced to sign languages, understanding now much better the non-verbal language that for sure will be helpful in the youngsters’ lives. The friendships established between “hearing people” and ”not-hearing people” (deaf) seems to be the same as a friendship between people with no kind of differences. Among these there were intercultural nights where the participants shared their countries’ cultures, but the rich culture of Turkey was revealed during the entire program. Through work and fun the participants had new beautiful experiences.
