WithAMIn EU – Snina, Slovakia
The youth exchange included 6 different countries from Europe (Greece, Portugal, Romania, Bulgaria, Slovakia and Turkey) and was held for seven days in Snina region, which is situated at the eastern part of Slovakia.
This project aims to create an awareness-raising of young people on migration issues in parallel to the priorities of EU. Our AIM was to establish a youth exchange on three vital concepts of Europe: Assimilation, Integration and Migration. In the globalized world where the mobilization of people is an essential problem, it is important for youth to be aware of how to deal with challenges related to immigration. Thus, we talked about our countries’ immigration policies in addition to understand how immigrants feel and experience.

The goal of the project “WithAMIn” was understand of integrating immigrants coming from other countries without assimilating their fundamental characteristics; such as religion, culture and so on.
One of the most important priorities of the project is to contribute to the development of this programme and its actions. Through workshops we want to increase the awareness among young people regarding the capacity and availability of organizing projects that involve youth and local communities.
