Outdoor empowers You(th), Lechovice, Czech Republic 2014

The training course “Outdoor empowers You(th)!” brought 30 young people from 11 European countries (Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Hungary, Italy, Lithuania, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Spain and Turkey). Realization of the project was from 29th August to 6th September 2014 in Lechovice, Czech Republic. Main themes for the project were: youth (un)employment, youth empowerment, youth entrepreneurship and youth mobility.

Aims and objectives of the training course were:
- To encourage active citizenship and develop sense of entrepreneurship
- To provide necessary information about the micro economical youth opportunities (micro-credits)
- To explore the possibilities of the Youth in Action program as a tool for youth employment, mobility and entrepreneurship
- To identify the competencies that can be obtained through European non-formal learning projects and their certification by Youthpass
- To analyze the role and reception of NFE in different countries within a common Europe
- To gather and develop resources and strategies to promote the communication and linguistic competences
- To promote the value of cultural diversity and mutual understanding among various cultures
- To raise self-awareness of young people’s personal identity and introduce the idea of individual differences and equality of opportunities.
