“Youth on the edge”, Snina, Slovakia
The project was a 9 days Mobility of young people – Youth exchange – Key Action 1 (KA1) of Erasmus+ programme. This activity gathered 42 participants – youth leaders and youth workers, coming from 7 European countries (Czech Republic, Greece, Italy, Romania, Slovakia, Spain and Turkey). Project was realized by an experienced NGO called STEP – Society for territorial progress.

Aims and objectives of the project were:
- Development of solidarity and tolerance among young people,
- Creation of awareness and knowledge development toward marginality, exclusion and discrimination issues,
- Ensuring cooperation among youth in terms of social networking for preventing exclusions,
- Creating positive impact on youth work at different levels,
- Ensuring cooperation among youth in terms of social networking for preventing exclusions.
Youth exchange was based on non-formal learning process. It means that learning was based on youth experience, motivation and needs. During the project, non-formal education methods which assured balance between theory and practice was like: workshops, presentations, co-operative games, individual work, small discussion groups, plenary work, group dynamics, personal challenges, theoretical input.
