Youth exchange “Youth and Job Browser”, Serbia

 

” The 3rd part of the Job Browser Project consisted in an international conference. Every country had 1 to 3 participants who each had their own topic to present and discuss. The talking revolved around information about the Erasmus+ platform, soft skills, entrepreneurship, learning opportunities which can be discovered in universities, other volunteering platforms or similar platforms such as aupairworld.com and more. The hosting association brought some special guests who presented their projects and their journeys in establishing and managing a business, from the start point until now. And he told us how important it is to know people, different people who have different skills and who can help you solve your problems. From this perspective, an entrepreneur is someone who knows the right people to solve a problem. Essentially, soft skills are the core of a good entrepreneur.

The activities were held in a lovely co working space where we had the chance to meet other interesting people. We visited new places in Sabac that we didn’t had the chance to visit the last time. But, we only stayed there for almost 3 full days so we didn’t really had the chance to do more things. 

We also had the pleasure to meet some friends we made in the first project, some of the volunteers from Sabac, as well as the other participants from the other countries. We made some new friends and we had fun strolling through Sabac at night. Some of us even had the chance to go by boat on the river, near the ruins. It was warm and nice and we spent a really nice hour relaxing in the sun and having some refreshments.

Only words of praise to the organisers. The food was great, the place where we stayed was great also, in the centre of the city, and the experience very rich and colourful. We had a great time participating and we are looking forward to the last part of the project to see everybody again.”
