IT, Art and Youth on the Move, Sabac, Serbia 2019
The main aim of the youth exchange was to gather young people from 5 different countries to empower them to become Responsible, Active, Critic and with Solidarity behaviour Citizens in the local and European community.
Objectives of the activity were:
– To empower young people with fewer opportunities from passive consumer behaviour to active participation and taking care about gender perspective.
– To experience multi-multiculturalism through meeting and working with youngsters coming from different cultural and linguistic backgrounds.
– To discover new approaches in non-formal learning influencing youth participation
– To become aware of European community and to use opportunities of Erasmus + program as a tool for development of culture of youth participation.
Results of Practical (Hands-on) Workshops
4 different Practical workshops were organized during the Youth Exchange organized in Sabac, Serbia from 15th till 23rd of October 2019. Participants explored the topic of youth empowerment through the process of creation of different results (prints on textile, web apps, music concert and video work) by showing opportunities to other young people about the program, project and topic.
The consortium of participants during the Open Space in Sabac Library, shared in plenary debate their key findings to support ongoing learning process and was happy with the positive feedback from audience, including some local stakeholders from the field of youth.
