Take a photo of the Rs, Spain 2022

Participants were educated on environmental issues (main problems, causes, consequences, and solutions from both individual and collective perspectives), both broadly and with a focus on the 3Rs (Recycle, Reuse, Reduce). They gained fundamental knowledge on photography techniques (ISO, F number, shutter speed), image composition, and other artistic and technical aspects. In the final three days, participants collaboratively curated a photography exhibition.

Specifically, they learned about:

  • identifying major environmental problems
  • enhancing daily habits for sustainability
  • understanding the principles of the 3Rs
  • capturing video footage
  • appreciating the value of connecting with nature
  • engaging in outdoor activities

In addition, participants experienced global learning, including:

  • enhancing proficiency in foreign languages
  • exploring the cultures of other countries
  • embracing local and regional cultural diversity
  • understanding Erasmus+ and its opportunities
  • developing soft skills such as time management, public speaking, persuasive communication, inclusive leadership, initiative, and conflict resolution.
