Where focus goes, energy flows, Estonia 2022
The training course “Where focus goes, energy flows” was an 8-day program, aimed at equipping participants with skills to develop awareness about the energy field. The course involved 28 youth workers from 8 different countries.
The project had the following aims:
- to deepen understanding of the needs in the energy and environmental fields.
- to comprehend various methods, approaches, and tools used to raise awareness in these domains.
- to equip participants with practical tools and ideas to educate and advocate for a fair transition among young people upon their return home.

The objectives were as follows:
- increased knowledge in the energy and environmental sectors.
- enhanced quality and preparation of tools for youth work within partner organizations to inspire the younger generation to pursue careers in engineering.
- promotion of active citizenship and understanding of basic human needs, transitioning from fossil fuels to renewable energy sources.
- participation in study visits to oil shale manufacturers for a deeper understanding of energy and environmental issues.
- facilitation of cooperation between youth workers and engineers.
