Youth Workers for Refugees, Greece 2023
The Training Course aimed to highlight the problems faced by refugees in European society. It was evident that not all European countries had the same willingness to assist and support people who had lost their homes, possessions, and essentially their livelihoods. It was clear that these individuals needed our assistance to feel more at ease, more valued, and more integrated. It seemed that inclusion was the only solution that would provide these people with the second chance they needed to rebuild their lives.

During the training, we aimed to:
- illuminate the real challenges faced by refugees.
- suggest ways to provide refugees with as much support as the people of European countries.
- elicit empathy through workshops and simulations.
- combat stereotypes and prejudices.
- counteract racism and negative mindsets.
- strengthen our network.
- propose new project ideas.
- foster cultural interaction among the participants.
This project was done with the support of the Erasmus+ Programm.
