AI4 Youth, Slovakia 2024

The project on digital competences brought together a diverse group of young adults aged 18 to 24 from across Europe. Through a blend of theoretical learning and practical application, participants delved into various aspects of digital literacy, including understanding digital footprints, evaluating online information, and honing critical thinking skills in the digital age. The project employed innovative teaching methodologies such as gamification, peer learning, and project-based learning to create engaging and interactive learning experiences.

Furthermore, the project provided opportunities for participants to explore emerging technologies and trends, such as artificial intelligence, data analytics, and cybersecurity. Guest lectures, expert panels, and site visits to technology companies enriched the learning journey, offering insights into the digital landscape and potential career paths in the field. Beyond skill development, the project emphasized the importance of responsible digital citizenship and ethical use of technology. Discussions on digital rights, privacy concerns, and online ethics encouraged participants to reflect on their roles and responsibilities in the digital ecosystem, empowering them to make informed decisions and contribute positively to online communities.
