Media Shapers 3, Bulgaria 2024

The training course aimed to equip participants with foundational skills and hands-on experience in visual thinking and graphic facilitation methods. These methods served as valuable tools for organizing thoughts, enhancing cognitive processes, and improving communication. Visual thinking, in particular, was presented as an effective approach to structure ideas visually, making complex concepts easier to understand and communicate.

The course targeted beginners, ensuring that no prior experience in drawing or digital graphic facilitation was required, making the content accessible to all participants. The training sessions focused on developing participants’ abilities as visual thinkers, starting from fundamental principles and gradually advancing to more complex techniques. This approach helped participants build confidence in their skills, fostering creativity and innovation in their thought processes.

A key component of the project was addressing how to navigate media literacy and combat fake news. Participants were taught to critically analyze media content, recognize misinformation, and apply visual thinking techniques to communicate information more effectively in a world saturated with media and online content. This aspect of the course was designed to empower participants not only as visual thinkers but also as informed consumers of information, capable of navigating the complexities of modern media landscapes.

This project was done with the support of the Erasmus+ Programm.
