Healthy Minds, Eramsus+ Youth exchange
The primary aim of “Healthy Minds” was to increase mental health awareness and reduce stigma, encouraging open conversations about mental well-being. Participants engaged in interactive workshops, mindfulness practices, physical activities, and creative expression sessions to develop practical skills for coping with stress and anxiety. The objectives of the program included enhancing participants’ understanding of mental health, promoting intercultural understanding, and supporting youth participation. By involving participants in the planning and execution of activities, the program aimed to build self-confidence, organizational skills, and leadership abilities.

The exchange promoted intercultural dialogue by encouraging participants to share their cultural perspectives on mental health and learn from each other’s experiences. This fostered a sense of community and respect for diversity, aligning with the Erasmus+ Youth Goals of promoting social inclusion and equity.
Through peer-to-peer learning, participants had mentored each other, shared personal insights, and worked on collaborative projects, creating a supportive network of young mental health advocates. This experiential learning approach had enhanced the quality of education and contributed to the personal and professional development of the participants. “Healthy Minds” had been a transformative experience that empowered young people to take an active role in their mental health journey and community involvement. By fostering a supportive and inclusive environment, the mobility had aimed to inspire lasting positive change in the lives of the participants and their communities.
One of the main results were the Manual healthy minds and a short video presentation of the project.
