Make Youth Active Citizens of Tomorrow, youth exchange Erasmus+, Campina 2022
This project consistsed of a youth mobility, a youth exchange that involved 30 young people from Italy, Poland, Bulgaria, Slovakia and Romania, for 7 days, in a challenge to better understand the importance of involving young people in life community, in decision-making processes and in dedicated activities.
Main objectives:
O1 – development of key competencies and skills specific to the active participation of the 30 young people, results recognized by the Youthpass certificates, until the end of the project. The development of active citizenship and civic competences is one of the new priorities of European cooperation activities in the field of education and training, which emphasizes the role of education in promoting equity and non-discrimination, as well as in disseminating fundamental values, intercultural competences and active citizenship.
O2 – development of cooperation between young people by carrying out 3 new European project proposals until the end of the project. The projects will involve at least 4 new associations from 4 countries other than the current ones to expand the area of cooperation between young people.
O3 – to promote mutual understanding, solidarity, intercultural learning and intercultural dialogue between the 30 young people from different cultural backgrounds and for at least 300 young people from the 5 communities through ancillary activities (dissemination / follow-up).
O4 – promoting E + 2021–2027 and Youthpass as a tool for recognizing non-formal learning within the 5 organizations, the local high school and among the 30 participants.
Working methods were based on non-formal learning. The methodology used included methods based on communication (interaction, dialogue, open discussions), methods based on activities (exchange of experience, practice and experimentation), methods focused on the social side (partnerships, teamwork, group activity) and methods of self-knowledge (creativity, discovery, responsibility, action). The general character were participatory, proactive and interactive with a participant-centered educational approach, as recommended by the CoE and the EC for non-formal education in working with young people.
