“inforNET” – IT center 2011 – 2012

.

By this project, we  equiped with computers connected to Internet, a IT center in Valea Dotanei village, a center for young people (especially with fewer opportunities)  to use, to learn and to gain computer skils, supporting them for making homework, school projects, community projects, etc.

The main objective of this project is related to the principles of human rights, namely access to education. Other objectives that converge in this are:

– an educational alternative to spend time

– to provide a common framework for youth education and to help them in the educational process (themes, reports, projects, etc.)

– young people learn and use computer programs like Office, Windows

– offer the possibility of disadvantaged young people (especially young people that do not have such equipment because of financial reasons) to use computer and Internet

– to teach young people to draw up a project for their community

– to teach young people to make a proper CV and how to look for a job

– provide for adults the opportunity to inform in the field practicing, etc.

The address of this IT centre is , Cultural House Traisteni, Valea Doftanei Village, County Prahova.

This project was done in partnership with “Ateliere fara Frontiere” Bucharest who gave us the IT infrastructure.
