Youth volunteer for nature, Valea Doftanei 2013

This youth exchange took place in Valea Doftanei, Romania. During 8 days of activities we, together with our partners from Italy, Turkey, Czech and Lithuania, involved 20 youngsters to different activities using the non-formal education. The non-formal methods that we  used is learning by doing, brainstorming, team-work, role play, open cafe, etc.
As the main theme for this project, the young team established the volunteer work for a clean environment and by these actions they also score for a healthy life. So we had three main subjects which were discussed during this project and several activities related to this. The objectives: promote volunteer work, protection and cleaning of environment and promoting a healthy life (outdoor activities, movement, healthy food, etc.).

One of the main results of this project were 4 movies realized by participants during the workshop: 

• Help nature, help yourself!
• It’s easy to help!
• The night of the walking rubbish
• Volunteer for nature
