International campaign “Multimedia Exploring Responses to the Challenges of Youth Employment”, 1 July – 15 December 2009
On 1st of October 2009 in 6 European cities the multimedia exhibition on the topic “Missing of Working Experience as a Challenge for Unemployed Youth” was held. Young artists were invited to tell and show their attitudes. Pieces of art was presented in these forms: comics, short audio, photography and short video.
Exhibitions was realized in below mentioned cities:
– Campina, Romania
– Chieti, Italy
– Sintra, Portugal
– Brussels, Belgium
– Sabac, Serbia
– Banja Luka, Bosnia and Herzegovina
Promotion of the exhibition and the catalogue was on the European level.
Project has been funded with support from the Council of Europe via European Youth Foundation.
About project
Exhibition was a part of the project, campaign titled Multimedia Exploring Responses to the Challenges of Youth Employment. Campaign was focused on process of transition from school to work with accent on youth employment and missing of working experience. Involvement of young people with less opportunity was trough active participation. Campaign have been adapted from 6 locals to European level.
Besides the Public Call and the exhibition project activities have been: 6 round tables with presence of expert in every country in order to discuss the responses on the theme received in different forms of art plus analyzing target population attitudes toward volunteering; 3 days lasting meeting in Sabac to develop Informative Campaign – the same visual image and the message but on different languages.
